Adaptive Buffer Capture and Storage for High-Speed Cameras

The output speed of a high-resolution camera with fast frame rate is high, reaching 800 MB/s or even more. Consequently, the abundant data recorded can easily cause overflow during transmission and loss storage. To address this problem while achieving reliable acquisition rates, herein, we design high-speed video adaptive storage method based on link protocol. system uses protocol cameras for acquisition. During transmission, memory space employed as buffer pool, an pool designed using hardware parameters, circular read/write buffer, combined block device method, used inside transmission. For storage, input/output completion port asynchronous mixed sequence number filtering to write data, hard disk achieve efficient writing. experimental results reveal that proposed realize stable writing conventional industrial interface, effectively addressing Moreover, stored be transferred efficiently less resource occupation, thereby meeting application requirements high-precision vision measurement systems demonstrating broad value.
